Kathie Murphy joined FloristWare in January 2008.
Prior to this she graduated with a B. Comm and worked for a major financial institution for 11 years in administration and small business account management. This experience gives her an excellent understanding of small business and the financial challenges faced by so many retail florists today.
Kathie spent several years away from the workforce raising her family on a full-time basis. During this period she was (and still remains) a very active volunteer in her community. One of her most meaningful projects is an ongoing mentoring program in which she works closely with a young person living in a difficult environment. She has also managed her son's Major Midget hockey team.
Kathie is married and has two teenaged children.
