We are pleased to announce that on Saturday March 18, 2006 we will have the honor of presenting the FloristWare Point-Of-Sale system to the Technology Committee of the Society of American Florists during their Congressional Action Days.
This is an opportunity for FloristWare to gain exposure among important members of the American floral community. We hope that they will see the value of an affordable and easy-to-use system that is not tied to any wire service and help spread the word among SAF membership.
We will also be taking the opportunity to present our Five-Point Fairness Plan. This is a blueprint for a plan that would encourage all POS vendors to disclose important details about their systems before any contracts are signed.
Too many florists have committed to POS systems without fully understanding the commitment they were making. These florists didn't have the information they needed because they didn't know what questions to ask.
We firmly believe that better disclosure from the providers of POS technology can only help protect florists. We hope that the SAF will agree and encourage POS vendors to participate.
