We are pleased to introduce the new and improved FloristWare website.

It has been completely re-designed with three main things in mind:

1. To help existing users get the greatest possible benefit from the FloristWare POS system. The new site includes access to more (and vastly improved) training and support resources.

2. To help potential users learn more about FloristWare and what it can do for them.

3. Be an valuable industry resource. This is very interesting and will be covered in a separate article shortly.

Over the past several weeks I have had the pleasure of speaking with Barbera Brooks and learning about the service that she founded - the Fine Flowers Network.

In speaking with Barbera and some of her member shops I have learned a few very interesting things about her network. The first is that is very exclusive - only the best shops are allowed in. This in itself is unusual given that many other wire services are happy to sign even shops with no history in the business.

The other interesting thing is the high average order value. Because the member shops are high-end they are sending the kind of orders that most shops can only dream about. This is very impressive when most florists complain that the value of their average incoming wire order is dwindling.
