FloristWare was pleased to exhibit at the Great Lakes Floral Expo (formerly the Michigan Floral Association Show) at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids Michigan this past weekend. As always Rod Crittenden and his team of volunteers did a fantastic job of organizing this well-attended and fun event. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with so many florists.

We are very pleased to announce that Kathie Murphy has joined the FloristWare Team. She will be responsible for handling most of the financial aspects of the business.

Kathie graduated with a B. Comm and worked for a major financial institution for 11 years in small business account management. This experience gives her an excellent understanding of small business in general as well as the financial challenges faced by so many retail florists today.

FloristWare was pleased to take part in the 2008 Vancouver Gift Show from March 9 to 11. The turnout was excellent and we had the pleasure of speaking with many florists. It was also very nice to speak to a great many long-time users we had never actually met before.
