FloristWare and the Petals ExchangeFloristWare makes sending orders through the Petals Exchange easier than ever before! Let's assume you are a member of the Petals Exchange and you take an order from a retail customer for delivery to another city. You get to use all of the FloristWare features to speed the order-taking process, collect payment, gather marketing information, etc. When you have finished taking the order, FloristWare will prompt you to assign it - meaning it wants you to select the florist or wire service that will fill the order. If you choose to send the order using the Petals Exchange you simply click the Petals Exchange button and FloristWare takes care of the rest - it takes all of the order information and sends it straight into the Petals Exchange. The order is sent in a matter of seconds. You do not have to do anything else - FloristWare does it for you. It even shows you how many orders you sent through the Petals Exchange network in a number of different reports. Receiving orders from the Petals Exchange will be done in the usual way for now. You can enter these orders into FloristWare if you wish, and FloristWare will generate the worksheet, enclosure card and delivery slip, and add the filled total to several different reports. You can also choose to just fill the orders as you do now - without entering them into FloristWare. We are hoping that in the near future Petals Exchange orders will be sent straight into FloristWare. This means that the Petals Exchange will send orders to FloristWare, which will in turn automatically generate the worksheets, enclosure cards, delivery slips, and adjust several different reports as needed. |
