FloristWare and TelefloraDesigned by florists for florists, the FloristWare order-taking and point-of-sale system is the one you have been waiting for. It offers the features that real florists want at a price they can afford. We are often asked if FloristWare will work with Teleflora. In order to be absolutely clear on this subject we need to break the question down and discuss it as two separate issues - compatibility with Teleflora and compatibility with the Teleflora Dove network. We'll deal with Teleflora first. FloristWare is 100% compatible with Teleflora. Let's assume you are a Teleflora member and you take an order from a retail customer for delivery to another city. You get to use all of the FloristWare features to speed the order-taking process, collect payment, gather marketing information, etc. When you have finished taking the order, FloristWare will help you assign it, meaning it will help you choose another florist and then send the order to them. It does this by showing you the Teleflora florists in the delivery city that you like to deal with. It shows you what they have sent you (order count and value) vs. what you have sent them. It also lets you keep notes and assign a star rating to each florist - all to help make sure you choose the right florist for the order. Once you have selected a florist, FloristWare allows you to send the order to them in several different ways. It can present it to you in a way that makes it easy to send the order over the phone, it can print a special worksheet out so you can fax it to the florist, it can fax this same worksheet to the florist directly, or it can send it to the directly by e-mail. Very quick and easy! Much better than digging through a directory! When a florist calls you up to send you a Teleflora order, FloristWare helps speed the order-taking process while making sure you get all of the needed information. It then prints the worksheet, enclosure card and delivery slip. It also adds this incoming order information to several different reports. Most importantly, FloristWare will also automatically prepare the "Report Of Orders Filled" to be sent to Teleflora so you can be compensated. This is a real time-saver! Now we come to the Dove Network. At this time FloristWare cannot send or receive orders using the Dove Network. That doesn't mean they don't work together though! If you are a Dove user, FloristWare will still speed the process of taking an order from a retail customer, collecting payment, gathering marketing information, etc. When it comes time to send the order through the Dove Network to be filled FloristWare will print out a special worksheet that you use to enter the details into your Dove terminal. FloristWare will still be faster and do more for you in terms of collecting marketing information than taking the order by hand, ringing it in on your cash register and then entering it into your Dove terminal. Incoming Dove orders can be handled two ways. You can enter them into FloristWare if you wish, and it will generate the worksheet, enclosure card and delivery slip, and add the filled total to several different reports. You may also choose to just fill the orders as you do now - without entering them into FloristWare. |
