FloristWare Screen Shots: Starting PointBelow you will find an image of the screen that most users see when using FLoristWare. This is an actual screen shot - the FloristWare POS system really is this clean and easy to use! Please keep in mind that the image has been scaled down to fit your browser. When you are actually using FloristWare the screens are much larger, clearer and easier to read.
This is the first screen most users see when starting FloristWare. It is the starting point for most of your employees as they go about making sales, taking orders and building arrangements. This screen is a great example of the FloristWare "Question & Answer" interface. Here FloristWare is asking the user what they want to do, and the three large beige buttons correspond to the three most common responses. All the user has to do is click on the button that describes what they want to do. But they don't have to click the mouse to get started. One of the reasons the buttons are so big is because FloristWare is designed to work with touch-screen monitors. You will also notice that in the top right hand corner you will see "F1", "F2", etc. FloristWare allows you to "click" those buttons by hitting the Function 1, Function 2, etc. keys instead. This saves a lot of time and is very popular with experienced users. At the bottom you will see several yellow buttons. These represent other, less commonly selected actions. As you can see, there is less information written on these buttons to help you understand what they are for, but don't worry! FloristWare has the solution. For more information visit the "FloristWare Help Section". But for now let's assume that we are going to perform one of the most common tasks - taking a sale. So imagine that we click the "Take a Sale" button and FloristWare moves on to the next step.
