FloristWare Screen Shots: Help SystemFloristWare is very easy to use. The screen shots below will illustrate the reasons why. Please keep in mind that these images have been scaled down to fit your browser. When you are actually using FloristWare the screens are much larger, clearer and easier to read. Below you see what we call the "Start Screen" - the screen that will be seen by most of your employees when they begin working with the system. One of the things that makes FloristWare so easy to use is the unique "Question & Answer" interface. In this case FloristWare is asking the user how they would like to get started, and the three most popular choices are represented by the three large beige buttons. Each of these buttons contains a detailed description explaining what it does.
Pretty simple right? Yes. But you will see that there are other buttons on the screen that don't have any explanation. Not sure what they are there for? FloristWare can help! Simply hold the cursor over a button and a window pops up explaining exactly what the button is for. In the screen below the user is holding the cursor over the blue "User" button, and FloristWare opens a window to explain what the button is for. Please keep in mind that this window has been scaled down for the website and would be much larger and easier to read when you are actually using FloristWare.
In the image below the user is still on the same screen but has now moved the cursor over the "Find/Refund A Sale" button, and FloristWare is giving them more information.
The screen below shows the "Sales By Product" Report. In this case the user has placed the cursor over one of the blue column headers to activate the FloristWare Help System. As you can see, a box opens up explaining specific details on what information is in that column and what it means.
There is another important component to the FloristWare Help System. In the top center of every screen you will see a purple "Help" button. Clicking this button will take you to a special help page dedicated to the screen you are working on. This page will explain exactly what you are doing and explain what every button on the screen does as well as outline all of your options. Here is the help page for the "Start Screen" we were looking at earlier.
When you are finished you simply click "Continue" to be returned to the screen you were working with. The FloristWare help system contains almost 100,000 words of instruction and is better than any manual because you never have to find what you are looking for - just click button and FloristWare takes you to help information dedicated to that very situation! Some of our users do like having paper, which is why we included the yellow "Print" button at the bottom of the screen. If they find there is an area where they consistently have problems they print the help page and keep them in a binder near the computer.
