2014 AIFD Testing Results

The 2014 AIFD (American Institute of Floral Designers) Symposium in Chicago was special for several outstanding floral designers (and FloristWare clients).

2014 AIFD Testing Results

This year, at the 2014 AIFD National Symposium in Chicago, 143 florists attempted the very rigorous AIFD accreditation test. Fifty designers earned their CFD credentials, 24 designers maintained their CFD credentials and 69 professionals created designs so excellent they were invited to become AIFD members.

Doug Bates of Designs by Vogts in Sturgis Michigan, was one of those that took the test and passed. AIFD accreditation meant a great deal to Doug and it is exciting to see him receive this honour. He'll be inducted at the 2015 AIFD symposium in Denver. He’ll be joined by Eileen Cheng of Blossom Street Florist in Tamarac Florida. Much like Doug Ellen was very excited about testing when we spoke to her at the FSFA show in June. Janet Jacqueline Corrao of Kingsland & Franklin Florals in Nutley New Jersey also passed the test.

Rhonda Little of the Millinocket Floral Shop in Millinocket Maine passed the test last year at the 2013 symposium in Las Vegas and was officially inducted as a member this year.

These highly skilled artists have used FloristWare in their flower shops for years. To us they aren't just incredibly talented designers – they are also great clients and wonderful people. It is truly a pleasure and an honor to work with them.
