Just a quick reminder that next weekend, at the 2015 Ozark Florist Association Convention and Expo at the Downstream Resort in Quapaw Oklahoma, FloristWare is sponsoring a valuable education on sales and service called "Outstanding Service in Your Shop".
The session will be presented by Sam Bowles AIFSE of FloralStrategies – an outstanding sales and service trainer and excellent speaker. He got great reviews sharing a presentation with FloralStrategies founder Tim Huckabee at SAF Retail Growth Solutions in June, and this time he'll be on his own.
The session will include a unique sales test to help you gauge how well you are currently selling and serving customers at your flower shop. You'll learn how to stop interrogating customers and asking them non-productive questions – questions that make you sound less credible and professional, and result in fewer and smaller sales.
You will then be armed with new questions and an improved vocabulary – one that will make you sound more polished and professional... leading to more and larger sales, and happier customers. Finally you'll learn one of the most important aspects of floral selling – handling the sale of add-ons.
