Getting Started - Next Steps

Answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about getting started with FloristWare - the most popular independent POS system for florists.

We offer a free trial version and encourage all potential users to try it out. Unlike some of our competitors we want to make sure you know exactly what you are getting. And don’t worry - the information you enter into your free trial version will be imported into your full version so you don’t have to enter it in again.

We want you to be absolutely certain that FloristWare is right for you. If you have any questions at all about pricing, compatibility with specific wire services or existing hardware or enclosure cards, etc. please be sure to ask.

Many of our users are switching over from other POS systems and want to import existing customer data into FloristWare. If this is something that interests you we will need you to export a sample of your customer data and send it to us. We’ll then get back to you with a detailed report on what we can do with the data.

Select a payment option on our website: www.floristware.com/getstarted There is never a contract or commitment and you can cancel at any time.

Once you have completed the survey and selected a payment option you will be contacted by our Support department. They will begin the process of installing the full version, converting your existing data and configuring everything to work properly in your situation. This is all done remotely.

  • Having the customer loyalty points program in general increases repeat customers/sales because customers know they are building discounts toward future purchases. From the customer's point of view: not having to carry "another" points card is a big plus and encourages customers to sign up for the program without hesitation.

  • I really like the Progress Tracker feature. I use it as a small “Dispatch Manager” (or my version of it). I do not use delivery slips, but print delivery lists from progress tracker and use it as trip sheets – it looks much more professional.
