The Kansas State Florists Association (KSFA) was founded in 1921. The main objectives of the association are to:
- advance the education of its members in the scientific, business, social and all other phases of the floral industry
- to promote a more general appreciation and use of floriculture products on the part of the general public
- to hold meetings and exhibitions on the furtherance of these objectives
- to cooperate with the United States Department of Agriculture, The State of Kansas Department of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture at the Kansas State University, and with other horticultural organizations in the dissemination of horticulture knowledge.
