These functions are intended to keep association members up to date with the latest trends and advancements in their industries, and provide them with the opportunity to talk with each other in order to gain other perspectives into business operations in different areas of the state of Maine.
The MSFGA also promotes the floral and nursery industries by having representatives attend various functions at the State House and meetings with the Maine State Secretary of Agriculture. It also co-sponsors design shows at public fairs to help with consumer education. The MSFGA, under the leadership of its elected president and with the help offhand-working volunteers, is always looking for new ways to promote the industries of its members and to provide them with greater benefits.
