South Dakota Certified Florist Program

Becoming a South Dakota Certified Florist requires successful completion of both written and practical application tests administered by the education committee of the association. Successful participants will be recognized at an induction ceremony held during the annual SDFA convention for their commitment to professionalism and individual excellence within the floral industry, and be able to use the SDCF post-nominal on all professional correspondence.

Scholarships

The SDFA also offers scholarships for florists/floral designers that are interested in undergoing the South Dakota Certified Florist Program. Those interested can download details and an application form from the SDFA website.
