The NSWFAS is founding member of both the Australian Floral Art Association (AFAA) and the World Association Of Floral Artists (WAFA). It focuses primarily on bringing together people in New South Wales, Australia who love floral art and the beautiful natural plant materials that can be used to express this art form.
In addition to the monthly meetings of the affiliated clubs and groups listed below, NSWFAA conducts 4 weekends each year – February, May, August, October – at various locations around NSW, which combine floral design competitions and education through demonstrations and hands on workshops with top floral designers.
The society is proud to have a panel of experienced, qualified Judges and trained Demonstrators who welcome the opportunity to visit clubs and organizations, judging and demonstrating floral art.
