American Floral Endowment Scholarships

The American Floral Endowment (AFE) awards more than 30 scholarships to floriculture and horticulture students annually. Applications can be submitted between January and May 1 each year.

Each year the American Floral Endowment (AFE) awards more than 30 scholarships, from $500 to $5,000) to floriculture and horticulture students.

AFE scholarships are intended for sophomore through graduate level college students pursuing degrees in floriculture and horticultural fields. Applicants must be either a citizen or resident of the U.S. or Canada (or be enrolled in an accredited educational institution in one of those two countries) and have a minimum 2.0 grade point average.

Applications can be submitted starting in January of each year, and are due by May 1. AFE makes it as easy as possible by providing an online application platform.

AFE floriculture and horticulture scholarships are broken down into four categories:

Awarding these scholarships each year is a primary function of AFE and FloristWare has a number of clients and shop owners that credit AFE with helping them get their start in the floral industry.
