Mark Anderson is the founder and developer of the FloristWare POS system. He has a background in small business software development. Mark began development of FloristWare in 2001 when his father (owner of a flower shop since 1991) asked him to help research existing POS packages. After taking a long hard look at what was available Mark saw that there was an opportunity to create a truly special product that could really help the typical retail florist.
Mark is involved with several non-profit organizations. He is the vice-president of an organization dedicated to honoring and preserving the early military history of North America. He also sits on the board of the Good Neighbors Club, an organization that provides assistance to older homeless men. He also aids a local reserve unit, using technology to free the soldiers from duties that would otherwise distract them from their training.
